- Good communication and networking skills is a must.
- Spanish speaking is required
Key Responsibilities
- Requesting doctor orders.
- Setting up new patient appointments for therapists.
- Handling of office email/faxes and communicating to therapists.
- Filing patient paperwork as necessary.
- Billing for company therapists. (Training to be provided
- Review and process paid/not paid claims from commercial insurance companies
- Maintain claim reporting
- Create and maintain systematic claim follow up processes
- Creating medical necessity letters for claim disputes/appeals/Complaints
- Coordination with front office staff on patient benefits and insurance coverage provided
- Resubmission of Not Paid & Rejected claims
- Check claim information for accuracy
- Verify commercial insurance benefits as needed via portal or phone call
- Communicate benefits to parents as needed
- Other duties, as assigned
