Ms. Jennifer

Behavior Technician

My journey in behavioral health began with a B.Sc. in Psychology, which fueled my passion for understanding and supporting human development. Over the past few years, I have worked in the mental health space specializing in providing compassionate support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a wide range of developmental needs. Through these experiences, I fell in love with using structured play, creative engagement, and thoughtful de-escalation techniques to build deep therapeutic rapport. My approach is deeply rooted in patience and consistency, ensuring that every child can navigate emotional and behavioral challenges in an environment where they feel completely safe, understood, and encouraged.
As a clinician, I love connecting with families, celebrating milestone moments, and turning everyday challenges into triumphs. Looking toward the future, I am excited to continue expanding my clinical skills with long-term plans to pursue a master’s degree in child psychology to deepen the lasting, positive impact I can make on children’s emotional well-being and development. Outside of work, I enjoy trying new experiences, listening to music, and exploring the vibrant local community in Durham.
