Ms. Clarissa

Registered Behavior Technician I

Hello! My name is Clarissa Kincy, and I am excited to join the Therapy Smarts team as an ABA Technician. Helping others has always been my passion, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support children and families while making a positive difference in their lives each day. I bring over five years of experience working with children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I provided one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2 to 11 in both clinic and home settings, focusing on helping each child build meaningful skills and reach their individual goals. I also served as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Supervisor in Columbia, Missouri, supporting autistic adults, and worked in a day program in Kansas City, Missouri, where I helped individuals develop independence and thrive in their daily lives.
In addition to my experience in the autism field, I worked as a Correctional Officer at a women’s correctional facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, where I supported women with mental health needs. That experience strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, remain calm under pressure, and provide compassionate, person-centered care in challenging situations.
I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice and plan to continue my education at North Carolina Central University, where I will pursue a degree in Social Work. My long-term goal is to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) so I can continue advocating for individuals with autism and positively impact even more families.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning, growing professionally, and finding new ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I look forward to building positive relationships with the children, families, and colleagues at Therapy Smarts and am excited to be part of a team that shares my passion for helping others succeed.
