Ms. Hayden

Occupational Therapist

Hayden received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2023. She spent her first year after graduation working as a travel therapist from coast to coast with a wide variety of populations and settings.

Pediatrics has always been an area that she is extra passionate about, and OT gives her a unique opportunity to empower kiddos and their families to engage in occupations that are meaningful to them. Hayden has clinical experience treating children across the age span with various diagnoses and disorders including developmental delays, fine and visual motor deficits, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

When Hayden isn’t wearing her OT hat, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and trying new things. She is always down for an adventure, big or small. North Carolina has always been Hayden’s favorite state, so she is excited to plant some roots by joining the Therapy Smarts community in fostering independence and joy for children and their families.
