Julissa is a Licensed QBA with 8 years of experience in the field of ABA. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Psychology with a specialization in Social Psychology and an Army Major with the NC National Guard. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Interamerican University in Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in educational counseling from Anna G. Mendez University, a second master’s in psychology, and a Graduate Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Julissa began her ABA career as an RBT, working since 2017 for 2 years before becoming a QASP-S and later a QBA in 2020. She took a break in 2022 to go back into the North Carolina National Guard as a full timer. She has experience working in school, home, community, and clinic settings, and provided support to clients aged 5 to 21 with autism and other developmental disorders. She is fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
