Ms. Jessie is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant for Therapy smarts. She is from Windsor, North Carolina. She has been working with children for two years and has gained experience working in schools and preschools in the Raleigh area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from East Carolina University in May of 2025.
Over the course of her time at East Carolina she took many child development classes and found a passion work working with children. She has worked with a diverse population of children including those with augmentative and alternative communication devices, developmental delays, on the Autism spectrum, and many more. Jessie uses individualized, evidence-based techniques in a play-based setting to help children achieve their communication goals. Jessie wants every child to feel confident and comfortable while they find their voice and learn how to use it!
