Ms. Ja’Zona is originally from Virginia but relocated to North Carolina to further her academic and professional goals.

She recently graduated from North Carolina Central University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work. She is passionate about mental health and dedicated to supporting the well-being of children and families through compassionate, client-centered care.

While obtaining both degrees, Ms. JaZona’s experience in school-based settings, child welfare, and community engagement has shaped her responsive approach to practice.

Ms. Ja’Zona is also interested in addressing emotional and behavioral challenges in youth, as her long-term aspirations include leadership in clinical practice, research, and teaching.

Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and binge-watching her favorite shows and movies.
