Ms. Diona

Occupational Therapist

Diona earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Duke University in May 2025. As a lifelong resident of the Raleigh–Durham area, she is proud to serve the community that helped shape her. She is deeply committed to helping individuals build independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in their everyday lives through thoughtful, client-centered care.

While Diona values working with individuals across the lifespan, her heart has always been drawn to pediatrics. She is inspired daily by children’s imagination, resilience, and individuality. Diona strives to create environments where children feel secure, valued, and empowered to explore their abilities, while ensuring families feel supported, informed, and actively involved in the therapeutic process.

In addition to her pediatric focus, Diona has completed advanced training in low vision rehabilitation through Duke University. This specialized preparation allows her to thoughtfully support individuals with visual impairments by promoting functional independence, environmental adaptation, and confidence in daily activities. She is passionate about bridging accessibility with meaningful occupation so every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Outside of the clinic, Diona enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, making candles, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and binge-watching Grey’s Anatomy. She also loves spending time with her bossy dachshund, who definitely runs the household.
