Carita was born and raised in North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education- Adapted Curriculum. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Special Education and Child Development- Applied Behavior Analysis. Carita has experience working with children ranging from ages 2 to 17 in home, clinic, and community settings. She loves seeing the progress children make as they strive toward and/or reach their goals. She is passionate about helping children learn to express their wants and needs and how to advocate for themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, reading, baking, and going on walks with her black lab.
