Kayla is a Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over a decade of experience in the field of ABA. Since 2012, Kayla has worked across a variety of settings, including homes, clinics and schools, providing individualized treatment to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. She has experience designing and overseeing behavioral interventions that help improve client outcomes in areas such as communication, social skills and adaptive behavior.

Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in child behavioral services from Rowan University and a master’s degree in criminal justice specializing in Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University. Kayla earned her BCBA certification in 2015. Her broad clinical experience, coupled with her leadership roles, allows her to tailor evidence-based interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring that families receive the best possible care and support.

Before joining Therapy Smarts, Kayla worked in a range of clinical and educational environments, where she gained valuable expertise in implementing behavior interventions and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Her hands-on experience has strengthened her ability to manage complex cases and support both clients and families through their behavioral and developmental challenges.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and is passionate about equestrian sports. She trains and competes in dressage with her horse, finding balance and personal fulfillment in her commitment to the sport.
