Hazel earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish from Meredith College, which laid the
groundwork for community work with the Town of Chapel Hill, such as serving as
the translator for Hargraves programs. She enjoys going to Pilates, shopping, and going
on hikes with her dog, Mister Ryu.
