Maddie recently graduated from Madison College in Madison, Wisconsin from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Before attending this program she received a bachelor’s degree for Health Promotion and Health Equity from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Maddie has always loved working with kids in different settings including summer camps, daycares, babysitting and volunteering with different organizations. Maddie believes OT combines all of the things she is passionate about into one and gives her the opportunities to empower children and families to gain confidence and improve their quality of life. Some of her favorite occupations outside of work include traveling, watching movies, going for walks, and going to concerts. As a new grad, Maddie is excited to begin her new journey as an OTA with Therapy Smarts!
