As the year came to a close, the Therapy Smarts team gathered in mid-December for a special end-of-year dinner filled with laughter, connection, and holiday cheer. We celebrated at Tobacco Road Sports Cafe, right in the heart of downtown Durham—a perfect spot to reflect, relax, and enjoy time together outside the clinic.

The evening was everything we hoped for and more. Team members enjoyed a wonderful dinner, friendly games, and plenty of shared moments that reminded us how grateful we are for one another. After a busy year of supporting children and families across the Triangle, it meant so much to pause, break bread as a team, and simply enjoy being together.

One of the highlights of the night was overlooking the festive glow of Durham Bulls Stadium, where the FestiBull of Lights was lighting up downtown. The twinkling lights and lively atmosphere added an extra layer of magic to the evening and truly captured the spirit of the season.

This celebration wasn’t just about dinner—it was about community. Being surrounded by the energy of Durham, sharing stories, laughs, and gratitude, reminded us how special our team is and how meaningful our work continues to be.

We ended the night full—of great food, good memories, and appreciation for one another. As we step into a new year, we carry that same sense of togetherness and joy with us, ready to continue turning challenges into triumphs for the children and families we serve.
