Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Melissa relocated to North Carolina in 2012 with her husband their Jack Russell Terrier, Trek. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assisted who graduated from the OTA program at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte in 2024. Melissa has an extensive background and passion for
working with children that began with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She believes through compassion and creativity, every child can feel empowered and overcome the obstacles within their everyday lives.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time in nature. Her hobbies include pickleball, hiking, camping, bird watching, disc golf, visiting the beach and mountains and hanging out with her dog. When the sun’s not shining, she enjoys a wide range of indoor activities including paper crafting, puzzles, 3d crystal puzzles, Legos and going to the gym. She is very excited about working with children and families to help each child thrive and live their absolute best life!
